Reissued Practice Note SC CL 2 – Criminal Proceedings

On 2 June 2023 the Chief Justice reissued Practice Note SC CL 2 – Criminal Proceedings, with a commencement date of 12 June 2023.
The revised Practice Note:
- sets out the requirement for the legal representatives of the Director of Public Prosecutions and the accused to complete a Trial Management Form (see [12]).
- makes it clear that the parties are under a continuing direction to inform the Court of any change in circumstances that may affect the readiness of the matter to proceed or the estimate of trial (see [14]).
