Bar FC draw again

Under clear skies today Bar FC continued their season by a solid performance against ABC FC. It seemed as though a win was just around the corner as Bar FC scored first with an assist from Compton and a classy finish from Pace. Shortly thereafter, Rogers in support had a shot that narrowly missed the upright. Bar FC were dominating however, how quickly football may change. ABC pounced on a loose ball levelling the score and then scored again to lead 2-1.

Unperturbed by the score line, Bar FC continued its push with Connolly providing some nice touches to free up the attack. Alas, Ahmed Rizk was rewarded for his effort with a penalty in front of goal after the ABC defender thought a rugby tackle may stop Rizk. He took the penalty wonderfully to level the score 2-2 just before the final whistle.

Probably the right result on the balance of the play however, a win for Bar FC cannot be far away.
