First Bar Bushwalk for 2025: Blue Gum Swamp Walk

On Sunday, 13 April 2025, Bar Bushwalking will undertake its first walk for the 2025 year.

This is a spectacular walk along fire trail and ridge lines in the Blue Mountains near Winmalee.

Highlights of the walk include Grose Head South Lookout, Eucalypt forest and sandstone rock formations. The walk is about 13kms, but it will be taken slowly.

Meet at 8.30am for a 8.45am start at the end of White Cross Road, Winmalee, Lower Blue Mountains.

As always, please have 1 or 2 litres of water, lunch, wet weather gear (if there is a prospect of rain), a hat and good walking shoes.
