Bell SC appointed president of the NSW Court of Appeal

Attorney General Mark Speakman SC has today announced the appointment of Dr Andrew Bell SC, senior vice-president of the Bar Association, to the bench of the Supreme Court and as president of the Court of Appeal. Dr Bell SC will replace governor-designate Justice Margaret Beazley AO QC as president of the Court of Appeal. Dr Bell will be sworn-in on 28 February 2019. Members will be advised of arrangements for the swearing-in ceremony closer to the date.
