Swearing-in ceremonies in the District Court

Sharon Harris and his Honour Judge Justin Smith SC have been appointed as judges of the District Court of New South Wales. A formal formal swearing-in ceremony will be held in the John Maddison Tower on Level 21, at 9.00am on Monday, 18 February 2019. Anna Mitchelmore SC will speak on behalf of the New South Wales Bar.

Barristers should wear wigs and gowns. Senior counsel should wear full-bottomed wigs.
