Appointments to the Family Court of Australia

The Hon Christian Porter MP, Attorney General of Australia has today announced Judge Joshua Wilson and Judge Robert Harper have been appointed to the Family Court of Australia.

These appointments elevate Judge Wilson and Judge Harper from their current positions as judges of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia.

A ceremonial sitting of the Family Court will be held in Courtroom 7C, Level 7, Lionel Bowen Building, 97-99 Goulbum Street, Sydney, at 4:30pm on Thursday, 21 March 2019 to welcome the Honourable Justice Robert Harper as a Judge of the Family Court of Australia. Micheal Kearney SC will speak on behalf of the NSW Bar. Robes are to be worn, wigs are not worn.
