HaveIBeenPwned is a free resource for anyone to quickly assess if they may have been put at risk due to an online account of theirs having been compromised or "pwned" in a data breach. In the event that a major online provider suffers a security breach and its customer accounts are exposed, victims who use the same passwords across multiple platforms are put at further risk of their other accounts being compromised.
