Important information for Sydney Registry visitors for March

From 2 March 2020, the Sydney registry (Lionel Bowen Building) of the Family Court of Australia and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia will commence a series of call-overs (known as the Summer Campaign).

The Summer Campaign, which will be conducted nationally, is aimed at reviewing long-term cases and providing an opportunity for litigants to have their matter dealt with earlier than anticipated.

There will be an increase in the number of visitors to the registry which is likely to result in delays through security screening. To assist, the building will open at 8:00am each morning (rather than 8.30am) from 2 – 20 March 2020.

Please allow at least 45 minutes for security screening ahead of your court event to avoid stress and delay before your hearing.
