Second Bar Bushwalk for 2025:  Berowra Waters Walking Track

22/05/2025

Wellbeing

The second Bar Bushwalk of 2025 will be on Sunday, 1 June 2025 from Berowra to Cowan on the Berowra Waters walking track, which is part of the Great North Walk and which features stunning views from numerous creek viewpoints and Naa Badu Lookout, which means ‘See water’ in the language of the Dharug people. The trail features plenty of solid climbs and rocky sections, so reasonable fitness is a must.

The walk will go from Berowra train station down to Berowa Waters Ferry, and back up to finish at Cowan station, where walkers will get the train back to Berowra train station. The walk is about 13km and will take approximately 5 hours.

Meet at 8.30am for a 8.45am start at Berowra train station in the car park. As always, please have 1 or 2 litres of water, lunch, wet weather gear (if there is a prospect of rain), a hat and good walking shoes.

If you would like to come on the walk please register by sending an email to Robert White at rwhite@12thfloor.com.au by no later than Thursday 29 May 2025. Any queries, please feel free to call Robert White on 8029 6342, Leah Reid on 9151 2946 or David Pritchard on 9221 3848.
