The newly revived Bar Book Club will meet next Tuesday, 3 June 2025 to discuss our second book and to collectively choose our third book. Be there or miss out (even if you haven’t finished the book)!

This month’s book is “Perfection” by Vincenzo Latronico (translated by Sophie Hughes). It was shortlisted for the International Booker Prize 2025, and is widely available from bookstores in paperback and for Kindle. It is described as "A taut, spare sociological novel about the emptiness of contemporary existence – scathing and affecting in equal measure”.

The details: Tuesday, 3 June 2025 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm in the conference room at Martin Place Chambers (Level 32, 52 Martin Place, Sydney).
