Samuel Stuart Clark AM AFSM FAAL died on 12 June 2025. Stuart was called to the bar on 20 December 1984. He practised from Wentworth Chambers. Stuart eventually returned to practice as a solicitor, and served as President of the Law Council of Australia in 2016, a director of the NSW Legal Aid Commission, and the Australian Legal Sector Alliance Ltd (AusLSA), amongst other roles in the profession.

His funeral will be at 10.00 am on Thursday 19 June 2025 at St James’ Church, King Street.
