Flooding at the Downing Centre

The Downing Centre building is closed today due to flooding.

Local Court update

Courts in the Downing Centre will be out of action until at least Friday this week. Any non urgent / non custody matters returning to Court this week or listed for the first time this week will go over to a date in the week commencing 14 July 2025. For anyone attending the Downing Centre between now and at least this Friday, there will be a temporary registry set up at the entry level.

For custody matters, either returning or first listed in the coming days, these will be heard at the Sydney Central District Court house (formerly the Central Local Court building) at 98 Liverpool Street, Sydney.

Further updates regarding the Local Court will follow. An update regarding the District Court is expected shortly and will be circulated via InBrief.
