First Nations Programs Information & Networking Evening – 13 August 2025

01/08/2025

The NSW Bar Association is hosting a First Nations Programs Information & Networking Evening on Wednesday, 13 August 2025 in the Association’s Common Room (Selborne Chambers, Sub Basement Level, 174 Phillip Street, Sydney). All First Nations law students or lawyers who are aspiring to go to the Bar or are interested in learning about the supports available from the NSW Bar Association are welcome to attend.

The event aims to promote the Bar Exam Support Program and the First Nations Mentoring Program to First Nations lawyers and law students, and to foster networking between First Nations lawyers and barristers, past program participants, as well as members of the Association’s First Nations Committee. The event will commence at 5:00PM with short presentations from the Deputy Chair of the First Nations Committee, Damian Beaufils, Committee members, Natasha Case and Rebecca McMahon, and an alumnus of each program, followed by questions and networking until 6:30 PM. The event will be livestreamed and recorded for the benefit of First Nations lawyers and law students who are unable to attend (however, in-person attendance is strongly encouraged for those who can make it). You can register here.
