Parenting facilities at Courts

The Family Court of Australia and Federal Circuit Court of Australia, located in the Lionel Bowen Building, Goulburn St, Sydney have parenting rooms with changing facilities on levels 4, 5, 6 and 7. There is also a parenting room at the Downing Centre on the ground floor behind the stairs.

At other Local and District Court locations across Sydney, a parenting room can be made available upon request to either the Sheriff’s Office or the Registrar at the location. Similar arrangements also can be made at Local and District Court locations in regional areas if a room is available.
