The chief magistrate of the Local Court, Judge Graeme Henson AM, has issued three practice notes affecting new procedures in committal hearings and case management in criminal and civil proceedings. The changes take effect on 26 June. They are: Comm 1 - Procedures to be adopted for committal hearings in the Local Court; Crim 1 - Case management of criminal proceedings in the Local Court; and Civ 1 - Case management of civil proceedings in the Local Court
