Amendments to Practice Note Civ 1: Case Management of Civil Proceedings in the Local Court took effect on Monday, 17 July 2017. Following recent amendments in regard to the making and determination of written applications for parties to appear and/or witnesses to give evidence via AVL or telephone, some further changes have been made to chapter 24 to take account of differences in procedure and terminology adopted in the Small Claims Division.
