Practice and procedure
District Court Criminal Practice Note 12 was published in the NSW Government Gazette today. It applies to proceedings on indictment with an estimated duration of two or more weeks. It will take effect from 2 March 2018, so that trials with estimates of two or more weeks listed to commence from 16 April 2018 will be listed for readiness hearing. Download the practice note here.
