Redfern Speech - 25th Anniversary event postponed

The Bar Association had scheduled an event for Monday, 11 December 2017 commemorating the 25th anniversary of former prime minister Paul Keating’s Redfern Park Speech. Unfortunately, that event is postponed until further notice. InBrief will advise members of the new date as soon as it is known.

The 25th anniversary of the Redfern Park Speech is an opportunity for members of the association to reflect upon the extent to which progress has been made in relation to the various issues raised in the speech and, more importantly, the work still to be done.
