Exclusive CPD Event: ICLC presents LGBTIQ Rights & The Law

In light of the changes brought on by the marriage equality legislation and the case of Re: Kelvin, Inner City Legal Centre ("ICLC") have put together a one-day CPD event* that addresses these changes and how this affects the rights of the LGBTIQ community.

Held on Friday, 9 March 2018 it will focus on issues specifically surrounding LGBTIQ rights and the law. Legal implications to anticipated changes to the Marriage Act, in light of the same-sex legislation, will also be discussed. It has been tailored for the legal profession, accounting for 6CPD units.

  • All proceeds go to ICLC in order to help supporting free legal advice and LGBTIQ youth outreach programs. ICLC is a community legal centre that provides free legal advice and support to vulnerable people. We also provide a specialised state-wide service for those individuals that identify as LGBTIQ
