Tomorrow, barrister Jeffrey Rose from Eight Wentworth Chambers will be shaving off his hair and beard as part of the World’s Greatest Shave, to help beat blood cancer.

Jeff aims to raise $8,000 for the Leukaemia Foundation this year, and he is looking for support from the profession. Jeff’s fundraising page is available here.

Blood cancer claims more lives than breast cancer or melanoma. Today another 35 people will be given the devastating news they have leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma or another blood disorder.

A donation of $120 can support a blood cancer research project for a day through a PhD Scholarship grant.
