Criminal justice system reflects persistent Indigenous disadvantage

The Productivity Commission has released its 2014 Overcoming Indigenous Disadvantage (OID) report. Although the results indicate some improvements in health and education, adult imprisonment rates are worsening and there are persistently high rates of juvenile detention and family and community violence.
