12/01/2015
The New South Wales Department of Justice has advised that, further to the recent limited release of its new 'Search NSW Court Lists' mobile app for the NSW Supreme, District, Local and Coroners Courts, it has now publicly launched the apps for Android and iOS Users. These are available from the Google Play Store and App Store respectively.
The new Court List Search mobile app allows users to search courts lists for the New South Wales Supreme, District, Local and Coroners Courts up to two weeks in advance and one week previously. The free official app from NSW Courts will allow users to quickly find individual court sittings by searching by case number or party name.
The app can be used to find the court location, time, room and residing officer (judge, magistrate or coroner) for court matters. Court listings will be available two weeks in advance and for one week previously. The listing information is updated every 60 seconds. By checking this app before court, users can keep abreast of any last minute changes to the court list. NSW Courts covered include the Supreme, District, Local and Coroners Courts. Mobile App Features include the ability to search by location, court, presiding officer, civil or criminal jurisdiction; to reuse recent searches; to view a court location on an interactive map, for example Google Maps; and to make enquiries with the NSW courts by email or telephone from within the app.
