ABA appoints new office bearers

The Australian Bar Association has appointed new office bearers, with Fiona McLeod SC from Victoria elected president, while Philip Selth OAM has been appointed chief executive officer. Ms McLeod identified legal aid funding arrangements and the impact of current sentencing policies on the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities as two of her main concerns. Learn more here.
