Council of Attorneys-General communiqué – 29 November 2019

A meeting of the Council of Attorneys-General was held today in Adelaide. Attorneys-General discussed the following issues: Family Violence; Surrogacy Regulation; Uniform Evidence Law Test; Royal Commission Recommendations Concerning Confessional Privilege; Child Abuse Royal Commission; Elder Abuse; Legal Assistance; Suppression Orders in the Digital Age; Model Defamation Provisions; Age of Criminal Responsibility; Criminal Justice Stay Warrants; Harmful Online Content; Forensic Evidence in Criminal Trials; Terrorism Model Referral of Power Legislation; Crimes at Sea; Match-Fixing and Related Corruption in Sport; Information Sharing with Local Government to Support Cross Border Debt Recovery.
