Tonight: The NSW Bar Association’s Cybersecurity Guidelines for NSW Barristers

The NSW Bar Association's Media and Information Law and Technology Committee is pleased to invite you to attend the third seminar in its 2024 Cybersecurity Seminar Series.

The seminar will cover the following topics:

(a) The new NSW Bar Association Cybersecurity Guidelines for NSW barristers

(b) Professional conduct considerations

(c) What you can do: security updates, secure passwords, multi-factor authentication

(d) Data retention

(e) Privacy Act issues

Moderated by MILT Committee member Michelle Meares, the seminar will involve an informative Panel discussion amongst MILT Committee Co-Chair Ben Kremer SC and Committee members Angela Bowne SC, Tamir Maltz and Pouyan Afshar.
