Law Council sets out election priorities

The Law Council of Australia today launched its 2016 Federal Election Policy Platform, which outlines its priorities for a newly-elected federal government, such as: the legal aid funding crisis; reducing family violence; abolishing mandatory sentencing; and Closing the Gap to reduce Indigenous imprisonment.
