New appointment to the District Court

Attorney General Gabrielle Upton has announced the appointment of Matthew Dicker SC as a judge of the District Court of NSW. Mr Dicker will replace His Honour Judge Michael Elkaim SC who has taken up an appointment as a Judge of the Supreme Court of the ACT. A formal ceremony to honour this occasion will be held onj Tuesday 12 July. Further details will be provided once they are received.
