Anti-death penalty advocate awarded LCA President's Medal

The Law Council of Australia has announced Julian McMahon as the recipient of the 2016 Law Council of Australia President’s Medal. Mr McMahon was recognised for his work over 13 years representing Australians facing the death penalty overseas, such as Van Nguyen in Singapore, George Forbes in Sudan and Chan and Sukumaran in Indonesia.
