Conference on Professional Firms and Employed Professionals
24/03/2017

12 April 2017 - UNSW Centre for Law Markets and Regulation
In 2016 this conference on the modern condition of professions had Richard Susskind speaking on changes associated with technology in professional work. This year the theme is employed professionals in large organisations: in corporations, government and professional firms. The particular challenge is that to traditional professional ethos which relies on individual agency (independence, client loyalty and expert individual advice and judgment) from the imperatives of organisations: profit, efficiency, government policy and entity rather than individual accountability. The keynote address will be from Professor John Flood an internationally regarded scholar and author on the modern condition of professions. You are warmly invited to consider the entire program and to register to attend this conference (free of charge) in the Sydney CBD by going to this link.
