Opening statement by LCA president at Senate hearing

The president of the Law Council of Australia, Fiona McLeod SC, has appeared before the Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committee's hearing into the Human Rights Legislation Amendment Bill 2017. One of the bill's objects is to redefine conduct prohibited by s 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act. View Ms McLeod's opening address to the committee here.
