Public Defenders COVID-19 Resources for Criminal Lawyers

The Public Defenders continue to update a resource page for legal developments relating to the COVID-19 pandemic that can be accessed through the Public Defenders Website.

The latest developments include:

• September updates to the Bugmy Bar Book Project chapter “COVID-19 Risks and Impacts on Prisoners and Communities”; and
• An updated report by Dr Andrew Ellis entitled “'COVID-19 Risks and Impacts on Prisoners and Communities.”

The resource page, which is available here also invites practitioners to provide confidential information about their experience during the pandemic by way of a feedback form that can also be accessed through the Public Defender’s website.
