Election of 2022 Bar Council - Nominations have closed

Nominations for the 2022 Bar Council closed at 4.00pm on Friday, 17 September.

Nominations have been received from 13 Senior Counsel and 47 members of the Junior Bar (including 10 under 5s).

An acknowledgment of the Returning Officer’s receipt of the nomination has been, or will be, sent to each candidate.

If any candidate has not received an acknowledgment, they should immediately contact the Certification Officer on certification@nswbar.asn.au.

Ballot papers will be posted on Friday, 1 October 2021 when the ballot opens.
