2021 New Barristers Committee Judicial Q & A

The New Barristers’ Committee will again host the Judicial Q&A panel on Tuesday 9 November 2021 at 5.30 pm. This year, the panel will include the Hon Justice Michael Wigney of the Federal Court of Australia, the Hon Justice Julia Lonergan of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and his Honour Judge JD Smith of the District Court of New South Wales.

The Q&A panel discussion is designed to allow junior barristers (particularly those under 6 years) to pose questions to judges from the Federal Court, Supreme Court and District Court with a view to assisting new barristers in their court craft, advocacy and practice in those courts. Barristers over 6 years are also most welcome to attend.
