Farewell Ceremony for The Hon Clifton Hoeben AM RFD

The Hon Clifton Hoeben AM RFD retired from the Supreme Court of New South Wales as Chief Judge at Common Law on 31 August 2021. A farewell ceremony to mark the occasion will be held in the Banco Court on Level 13, at 9:15am on Monday 6 December 2021. The ceremony will be notified in the Law List on Thursday 2 December, Friday 3 December and Monday 6 December.

The Attorney General the Hon Mark Speakman SC MP will speak on behalf of the NSW Bar.

Due to COVID-19, seating will be limited. If members wish to attend in person, it will be necessary to reserve a seat by emailing chambers.chiefjustice@courts.nsw.gov.au. The ceremony will also be livestreamed with the link being posted on the Supreme Court website prior to the ceremony
