The President of the Law Council of Australia, Dr Jacoba Brasch QC issued a Media Release on Friday stating 'the Law Council of Australia calls for moderation in the debate over the proposed federal anti-corruption commission, after comments comparing the New South Wales Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) to a ‘kangaroo court’ in the context of an ongoing inquiry'.
