Tony McAvoy SC sworn-in as the NT's Acting Treaty Commissioner

The Northern Territory Government announced today that Tony McAvoy SC has been appointed to the role of Acting Treaty Commissioner in the Northern Territory and will commence in the role on the 1st of January 2022.
The NT has been without a Treaty Commissioner since June 11 and McAvoy SC is expected to be in the role for up to six months.
