PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

Opportunity to work closely with ALS, Public Defenders, academics and members of the private legal profession. Role is geared towards improving social justice and equality within the criminal justice system. The role is primarily respoinsible for engaging in strategy and planning to best deliver the objectives of the Bugmy Bar Book Committee. It wil linclude delivering the quality research resources and education programs. The key responsibilities include: - Continue to develop the depth and quality of the Bugmy Bar Book resources - Develop and deliver a comprehensive and dynamic education program to members of the the legal professional in metro, regional and more remote locations - Promote and improve a better understanding of the Bugy Bar Book materials by the judiciary, the legal profession and how they can be used in court to promote better outcomes for people with a background of disadvantage.
