Safe Place - Friday, 11 February

The return to chambers after the summer vacation can be a highly traumatic experience for barristers of any seniority. The sudden shift from sleepiness and serenity to concentration and chaos can be rather overwhelming. It is also a time for assessing what the year ahead looks like. Do I have too much work or too little work? Have I forgotten everything I worked on and researched last year? Can I do this?

Safe Place is a confidential discussion group that takes place every two weeks. All participants are admitted to a Zoom webinar anonymously. You can:

• choose to identify yourself and speak;
• speak without providing your name; or
• listen, with other participants not knowing you are there.
