UNSW Law Society 2022 Senior Witness Examination Competition
08/02/2022

The UNSW Law Society's Senior Witness Examination Competition will be held in March. It is an opportunity for students to participate in a trial simulation, conducting an opening and closing statement, examination-in-chief and a cross-examination. The competition attracts high-performing students who have an interest in trial advocacy, and accordingly, student performance is judged exclusively by counsel from the New South Wales Bar who volunteer their time.
Should members be available from 6:00 – 8:00pm on the following dates, and interested in judging, the UNSW Law Society would greatly appreciate your time. They are able to facilitate the holding of trials at their Kensington Campus or via AVL from your chambers.
Practice Round - March 14-18
Round 1 - April 11th - 22nd (excluding 15th-18th, due to Easter Holidays)
Round 2 - June 20th - July 1st
Quarter-finals - September 26th - 30th
Semi-finals - October 10th - 14th
Grand-finals - October 24th - 28th
