The Bar Bushwalks are back! The Wellbeing Committee has a new programme for the Bar Bushwalks in 2022.

Sunday, 6 March 2022 at Convict Trail, Wiseman’s Ferry

Sunday, 1 May 2022 at Jerusalem Bay Track (Cowan to Brooklyn)

Saturday, 6 August 2022 at Sassfrass Gully

Sunday 6 November, 2022 is to be confirmed, but will be located in the Royal National Park

We would like to create a formal Bushwalking Club to launch the 2022 walk programme and to garner views and ideas for walks from those interested members of the Bar, chambers colleagues, Bar Association colleagues, Judges and court staff.

The first walk this year is fast approaching, on Sunday, 6 March 2022 at the Convict Trail at Wiseman’s Ferry. This is a relatively easy trail and a superb example of a walk within Hawkesbury sandstone country, with plenty of interest for historians! The walk will take about 3 hours and afterwards we shall go to the Wiseman’s Ferry Inn Hotel for lunch. We will meet at Wiseman’s Ferry at 9:30am for a 10:00am start.
