The Hon Graham Armitage QC, former barrister and District Court judge, died on Saturday. Graham was admitted to the New South Wales Bar in 1959, became a Crown prosecutor in 1975 and took silk in 1985. After serving as acting president of the Mental Health Review Tribunal, he was appointed as a judge of the District Court of NSW in 1989 before retiring in 2006. He served as an acting judge until 2009.
