Bar FC start the season winners

On Wednesday 4 May 2022 the Domain Soccer League season commenced with Bar FC fielding a full squad against ACR Athletic.

An aggressive formation by Sir Alex saw 3 play at the back with 5 in the midfield. This proved a great combination to nullify the attack and permitted the pacy men of Bar FC (di Michiel, Hartford Davis and Morrison) to cause havoc up front. A brace to di Michiel (with assists from Anthony Canceri and Oscar Clark) saw Bar FC win the match 2-0. A special mention to Hayden Doria who filled the goalkeeper spot with great poise, calm and skill. Thankfully, he was well protected by the defensive line with David Larish martialling the troops at the back.

Whilst it was our first match of the season, it was good to see all the squad looking trim and displaying a skill level unaffected by the disruption of the last two years.
