Bar FC suffer narrow 2-1 loss

On Thursday, 16 June 2022 Bar FC took on competition leaders Greenbridge FC in perfect conditions.

A stellar performance by Graham Connolly in goals kept the score line respectable, with a beautiful left hand low save defying the fact that he had not kept goals before. He was ably assisted in defence by d’Arville and Spiers who both played solidly. In the midfield, Tsang and Hartford Davis worked tirelessly, supplying the forward ball to Morrison who, despite the close attention of a defender, managed to pull off a right foot rocket in the last five minutes. A just reward for a team that never stopped during the whole game.

Special mention should be made of newcomers Jackson Rogers, Hannah Ryan and Darcy Munce. All slotted seamlessly into the team and promise to be great additions to a squad that is now 95 players in size.
