Change of Lecture for Tuesday, 28 June 2022: The 2022 Forbes Lecture to be given by Dr Susan Bartie (University of Tasmania), Legal Life Histories and the Creation of Legal Fields, has been postponed as Dr Bartie has contracted Covid. A fresh date will be announced soon.

In lieu, Professor Mark Lunney will present a lecture titled ‘Racing Morals’ and the Law of Defamation: An Australian Story tomorrow Tuesday, 28 June 2022 at 5.15pm in Court 13A. For an abstract of Professor Lunney’s lecture and further details of recent Society projects please click here.

The Forbes Society is grateful to Chief Justice Bell for use of Supreme Court facilities. No registration is necessary for in person attendance. If you had already registered for online attendance, there is no need to reregister for Professor Lunney’s lecture.
