Tonight, Tuesday, 28 June 2022, at 5.15 pm, the NSW Bar Associations Climate Change Law Panel are delighted to host a CPD seminar titled ‘What does climate science tell us, and what does this mean for litigation in New South Wales’. Hear from the Environmental Defenders Office's Dr Megan Kessler (Director of the Science and Expert Advisory Program) and Brendan Dobbie (Managing Lawyer of Safe Climate) about the quickly evolving intersection of science and law.
Dr Megan Kessler will outline the current state of climate science, and Brendan Dobbie will canvass the potential areas of litigation that climate science can support. Climate Change Law Panel member Robert White will chair the event.
