Bar FC victorious against AMP

On Wednesday, 29 June 2022 Bar FC defeated AMP 1-0 in the Domain Soccer League.

With a team filled with talent, Bar FC played some wonderful football to set up the win. A well-crafted team goal was the result of first half dominance that saw Lang SC with a tap in to take the points on offer shortly after the resumption of play. Special mention must also go to Jeh Coutinho and Captain Hartford Davis who both did well controlling the centre of the park. It was hard to pick a player of the match with many making fine contributions. Both Rogers and Connolly shared the goal keeping duties and fended off any attack AMP could muster. The Sir Alex award for sportsmanship however must go to Nicholas Allan who played for AMP as they were low in numbers. He played well and upended a number of his brethren in a display demonstrating the independence of the Bar.
