Wellbeing

Now that everything is “back to normal”, what does normal feel like? We have been told to get used to the “new normal” but have also been told to get back to the “old normal”.

What is normal, and why don’t we feel normal?

Conflicting messages can often be a cause of great stress, and make it more difficult to recover from past stresses.

What are our coping methods and strategies?

The Barristers' Safe Place will meet tonight Monday, 4 July 2022 at 4.30pm.

Safe Place is where barristers can meet, on the Zoom platform, and share with others any issues that they may be facing. Fundamentally, it is a confidential forum. Whatever goes on tour, stays on tour. Attendees can enter anonymously if they feel more comfortable doing so. The forum is moderated to ensure that as many barristers as possible can share with others what they are going through. No advice is given, but it is a place to be heard (confidentially).

Please register here.
