Tonight Tuesday, 16 August 2022 at 5.00 pm, the Inquests and Inquiries Committee are delighted to host The Honourable Ronald Sackville AO QC for a CPD discussion titled 'Royal Commissions, Social Policy and Multi-skilling: Where Does Counsel Assisting Fit?'.

Drawing upon his experiences with royal commissions and other official inquiries, the current Chair of the Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with Disability, The Honourable Ronald Sackville AO QC, will consider the multiple responsibilities and challenges faced by Counsel assisting a royal commission or similar inquiry, particularly one with broad terms of reference.
