Terry Keaney Award

This year’s winner of the Terry Keaney Award is Annmarie Lumsden, who for many years was the Director of Criminal Law at Legal Aid NSW. The criteria for the award are dedication to the profession, excellence as a criminal defence lawyer, commitment to clients and concern for social justice. The award is named in memory of a barrister who embodied these qualities. Following Annmarie’s recent appointment as Director of the Northern Territory Legal Aid Commission, the award was presented to her in Darwin at the CLANT conference.
