Conversation on Current Issues in the Practice of Employment and Industrial Law

The Federal Court of Australia invites practitioners to a Conversation on Current Issues in the Practice of Employment and Industrial Law, hosted by the Hon. Justice Mordy Bromberg at 5.30pm (Sydney time) on 22 September 2022.
The following presentations will be presented by Western Australian and New South Wales practitioners and Registrars of the Federal Court:
- What happened and why it matters: The High Court decisions in CFMMEU v Personnel Contracting and ZG v Jamsek – John Blackburn SC (WA Bar) and Mark Cox (MDC Legal)
- At what price certainty? Mediating employment and industrial matters in the Federal Court – Senior National Judicial Registrar Jenni Priestley and National Judicial Registrar Tim Luxton (Federal Court)
- Positive duty amendments arising from the Respect@Work Report – Vanja Bulut (NSW Bar) and Maria Nawaz (Grata Fund)
The seminar will be held in person in the Sydney (Court 1) and Perth registries of the Federal Court. A Cisco link can also be provided to those joining online.
